I’m Louis, a technical game designer with about 8 years experience making games, about 2 of which spent in industry (so far).
I’ve always been a jack of all trades, picking up knowledge and experience wherever I can. I’m always down to learn that first 20% of a subject, plonked right in the middle of the Dunning-Kruger valley, to bridge gaps and ease working with a team. I’ve picked up a dozen different hobbies (ask me about the candle business) and pride myself on the ability to adapt to whatever is needed.
While being very varied in my skillset is nice, it’s built on a solid foundational knowledge of C# scripting in Unity, and plenty of experience in both Unity and Unreal engines.
I’ve worked on big multi-dozen member team projects, to smaller, less than 10 member, prototypes, to 2-man exploratory gameplay block outs, all of which have given me valuable experience in differing workflows and product expectations.
