I’m constantly brainstorming and tinkering with ideas and projects, far too many to show here, but here’s some examples of things I’m either working on, or have in the past!
First Class Rescue
A while after the GMTK 24 game jam (where I made Bekka the Bokka, see here). I was approached by Jasmine, our producer for the project about working on making it more of a full game. We got the team back together (plus some new wonderful people) under the moniker of “Bokka Co” and stripped the idea, and the very ‘game jam’ quality code, back to first principles.
For the majority of development I served as both tech lead and design lead, both designing and laying out the foundational systems and functionality. More recently I’ve had my hands full with design work (as I’m the only game designer on the project 😅).
We put together a functional prototype in about 10 months of part-time work that we got to show off at Get IntoGames Fest, Guildford Games Festival, and Yorkshire Games Festival to a very lovely positive reception!

VR Weapon Swapping
While at university I had an idea for a method of swapping weapons/tools in VR. The general idea is a system to detect the current pose the player is stood in and then spawning/equipping a weapon that closest fits the pose, really happy with how the mechanic felt and I can definitely see myself using this method in a future VR title that could thematically fit.
Here’s a video demoing it (from a while ago, as you can tell from the hair):
